Domino Theory
1. From a dictionary point-of-view domino theory means a theory that if one country is taken over by an expansionist ,especially communist, neighbor, party, or the like, the nearby nations will be taken over one after another
2. Some can argue that the phrase "domino theory," is the United States reasoning for entering Vietnam
3. During Vietnam all four U.S. presidents' supported the domino theory.
4. President Eisenhower even described the domino theory as actually dominoes falling one after the other.5. U.S.A. was not the only believer in the domino theory, France believed in it too and were actually in Vietnam at the beginning but pulled out very early.
6. Russia's communism was upheld by a "curtain," which Europe refers to as the Steel Curtain, meaning nothing beyond a certain point was falling to communism.
7. Ironically, after the U.S. soldiers soon left Vietnam, it was taken our and became a communist supporter
8. People today believe that the domino theory isn't real and that the Vietnam War wasn't needed.

15. Vietnamese people today are still dying based on the result of chemical warfare just because of the phrase domino theory, which is quite sad.
